France was very active in the ITS market very early on. French companies have developed real know-how in this sector, which is recognized worldwide in the fields of ticketing, traffic management, passenger information services, autonomous vehicles, car-sharing, car-pooling and self-service bikes.
ATEC ITS France runs the ambitious French national strategy "Mobility 3.0" with a strong focus on following subjects: big data and mobility; ITS for low density zone; urban logistic; connected infrastructures; Multimodal traffic management; Multimodal ticketing and information services (MaaS), city and automated vehicles, etc., in order to strengthen the leading role of France in the field of ITS and to foster the development of innovative solutions, in France and internationally.
At the ITS World Congress, the France ITS pavilion features 25 smart mobility companies and next year ERTICO ITS Europe and Toulouse Métropole will proudly host the European ITS Congress in the Centre of Toulouse.
